THOR Takes Spiderman Release Date

We heard that Spider-Man 4 is facing some delays over the script.  This could result in the movie not being ready for its planned May 6, 2011 release date.  Sony has released two of the three previous Spider-Man films during this first week of May and would like to continue this tradition.

According to Variety, Paramount and Marvel Entertainment have decided to move Thor's release date from May 20, 2011 to the coveted May 6 date.  Following this move, Disney decided to take Thor's former date and now plans to release Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides on the twentieth.
